i heard this song in the basement of the San Francisco house where we recorded some of the tracks on See America. I was going through some rough times that weekend and i was having trouble recoding , and when I heard this song it helped my get back in my groove.

T-Bone's Song of the Week #10

This song takes me back to Atlanta, Georgia somewhere in the early '90s hanging out with my buddy Delbert Murphy on the grassy hillside at the Carter Center in the middle of the night. Smokin' doobies and drinking night train, staring at the city skyline playing guitar and learning how to play harmonica.

Years ago, while sitting in a boat in the middle of Bass Lake watching the sunset on the 4th of July this song came on the radio. And the guy driving the boat fired up a doobie and passed it my way as I was opening a beer. And it was at that moment I looked across the boat at my beautiful wife and realized how much I had missed her all these years.

Once upon a time, in a land far away...Atlanta, Georgia to be exact. This song, along with many other Michael Mcdonald songs touched my heart. Through my adventures on the road, this song has brought me joy on many occasions, there's really nothing else to say. The songs speaks for itself, enjoy.

Song of the Week #2

I feel like this song represents my life on this particular day, due to the misfortunes that have occurred in my life over the past few years. And since I'm 32, from Los Angeles, and touring in a band this song brings me both comfort and pain. I felt this version of the song was most fitting, so I hope you enjoy it.
